We are where hard rock meets Alaskan Pshycobilly. Since 2020 we've been rocking night after night to get to the top. Fueled by the desire to rock and achieve greatness through music, we won't stop even we reach the top!

Dirk cousy brankel

Lead guitarist and vocalist

Music is my passion, I knew that from a very young age that I was destined to be on stage. Early on my guitar hero's were The Reverand Horton Heat and Billy Gibbons, I obsessively listened to their music and played it to until my fingers bled. Since starting this project in 2020, we've rocked all over the state of Alaska and now it's time to take our music to the next level.  Everyday I look forward to playing my guitar and writing the next riff with the boyz, I know that we are going to make Rock and Roll history together and I wont stop until we do. I'll see you in the pit!!!

Alex Nisler

Drummer

Whats good pimp? Names Alex, and I’m the drummer for The Pit ViperZ! Music has been a huge part of my life since the day I could walk. Nobody in the family is musically inclined, but that didn’t stop me from getting my first drum set at only 12. A couple influences from the beginning and to this day would be Neil Pert, Chris Adler and Joey Jordison; their music drove my heart behind the kit. Drums have always felt like the missing piece that I needed to find balance in my life, so when I found The Pit Viperz everything fell into place. Playing heavy, fast paced, psychedelic rock is what fuels the explosive musicianship.

James Gallagher

bass guitarist, Supporting vocalist

Having first picked up a bass guitar at age 12, James has been pursuing music off and on for 16 years. James first gained a passion for live music working as a festival stage hand during his high school summers in Salida, Colorado. After working with names such as Fishbone and The Infamous Stringdusters, James was hooked on live music. Having garnered a cult following in the Wild West fisherman saloons of Naknek, Alaska with his acoustic act "Saint James and the Apostles" James knows how to lay down the groove and keep the party going, with influences like The Band of Heathens, ZZ Top, Primus, Rage Against The Machine, and Ratt. James Joined the Pit ViperZ in December of 2025.

Music has always been my favorite thing in life, I had no idea that it would end up effecting me like it has. in 2020 I joined my first band in Alaska, it was both a learning experience and one of the greatest experiences of my life. since then I have continued to play and take any opportunity I have to become a better musician. Now I'm rocking with The Pit Viperz and believe me when I tell you you're not ready for what comes next!
